Training Videos -- DVD

USFN's series of Video Training Programs consist of a topic-specific, 45-minute training video (DVD) combined with an individual workbook that participants complete during the video to reinforce what they learn. This training resource is designed to assist mortgage servicers in training new employees and cross-training current employees on basic concepts of mortgage law.

Three programs in the series are available: Fundamentals of Bankruptcy, Fundamentals of Foreclosure, and Default Management: Effective Attorney-Client Interaction (an award-winning video). All were created using the expertise of USFN attorneys, combined with the feedback and review of mortgage servicers during the development process.

The videos are broken down into sections covering major subtopics. Each section features a different attorney presenting key concepts in understandable language. The workbooks reinforce the learning experience and include overviews of key points, review questions (with answers), a glossary, and relevant sample forms. A complete video training program includes one copy of the video and five workbooks.

Image Default Management: Effective Attorney-Client Interaction received the BRONZE award from Association Trends in a national competition for association and not-for-profit publications under the Educational Program category. Developed with industry input, the video and accompanying workbook address a full range of topical issues, including Dealing with Lawsuits, the Representation Agreement, and Anticipating Challenges.

Programs include:

  • A 45-minute Training Video (DVD)
  • 5 Personal Workbooks designed for individual use in conjunction with the video
  • These learning tools contain key points, review questions & answers, sample forms, and a glossary.
